Minimum wage from July 1, 2024
On September 14, 2023, a regulation of the Council of Ministers was announced on the amount of the minimum remuneration for work and the amount of the minimum hourly rate in 2024. The content of the regulation shows that this year there will be a two-stage increase. The increase in the minimum wage and the minimum hourly rate will take place from January 1 and July 1.
The minimum remuneration for work will be:
– from July 2024 – PLN 4,300.00 gross.
The minimum hourly rate will be:
– from July 2024 –PLN 28.10 gross.
The change in the minimum wage will also affect other remuneration components, including: remuneration for downtime, compensation for violation of the principle of equal treatment in employment, severance pay for termination of employment under the Act on special rules for terminating employment relationships with employees for reasons not attributable to employees, minimum allowance, compensation for mobbing, or allowance for night work .
