International Oktoberfest 2021

On September 10,  2021, JWW Accounting Office participated in the celebration of International Oktoberfest 2021. This is the 16th edition of this event, which took place in the Toya Golf & Country Club this year. The event provides an opportunity for active networking, exchanging information and experience, and gaining valuable connections.

International Oktoberfest in Wrocław is a meeting organised together with the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce, British-Polish Chamber of Commerce and also Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce. The event has taken place regular for the past 16 years with the exception of a one-year break caused by the pandemic. However after the said break, the organisers decided to plan the event in its traditional pre-pandemic form, while simultaneously abiding by the current safety protocol. It was officially opened with a ceremonial barrel tap, which is part of the Oktoberfest tradition. Furthermore, the event was musically accompanied by the Bavarian Orchestra.

The event encourages the international exchange of information and indicates trends emerging in the market in terms of economic development. We are delighted that thanks to our membership in the Polish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the British-Polish Chamber of Commerce we actively participate in such business environment – says Aleksander Widawski, Vice-President of the JWW Management Board.

International Oktoberfest in Wrocław has earned a lot of respect not only by the entrepreneurs investing in Wrocław and Lower Silesia region, but also by the local community.  Each year the number of companies associated with the Chambers increases, hence the event enjoys growing interest.
